> Established first in Folkestone, Kent, Regent Electrical is a family-run business dedicated to providing personal service tailored to your needs.
Starting in 1995 with just a mobile phone and a couple of desks, the company has grown into a respected wholesaler with branches across Kent, Middlesex, and Essex. In addition to operating six branches of Regent Electrical, the company also owns and runs Gemini Electrical Supplies, an independent wholesale distributor in Teddington, as well as Select Electrical Supplies Ltd in Worthing
Throughout the years, the business model has evolved to embrace new technologies and products, but the core philosophy remains the same: going the extra mile to ensure you receive the products you need when you need them.

Meet the team
Our team is headed by three Company Directors, supported by our Group Commercial Manager, each bringing something unique to the table.
> Peter Ford FCA
Director
One of the original owners of the business, Peter is a chartered accountant who decided to invest in a local business in 1995 to support the local community. 28 years later in his late 70s, Peter is still heavily involved in the business and keeps the rest of us in check.
> Nick Ford FCCA MBA
Director
Having joined the company in 2003 as a trainee, Nick has performed various roles within the business and has been a Director since 2012. Qualified as a chartered accountant, Nick’s focus is on improving the operations of the company to ensure we’re always providing maximum value to our customers.
> Graham Allen
Director
Graham is another founding member of the Regent Electrical team. With over 35 years experience in electrical wholesaling, Graham has an exceptional technical understanding of the industry and a keen interest in new technologies and renewables.
> Ross Seddon
Group Commercial Manager
Ross joined the company in November 2023 as Group Commercial Manager, having recently left his role at Quantum Electrical Distribution Ltd. A product of the Edmundsons Electrical training programme, Ross has a wealth of experience of both independent and national electrical wholesaling.
